You and your spouse or guest are invited to a fun-filled day of wine tasting and lunch in Napa Valley. APMC is hosting our bi-annual "President's Outing" honoring our outgoing president, Larry Cook, on Saturday Sept. 29, 2007.
The day will begin promptly at 8:00 am with a continental breakfast being served at the APMC office on Fullerton Court. We will then be boarding our deluxe motorcoach which will depart promptly at 8:30 am and return to the fullerton Court location at approximately 5:30 pm.
Our Wine Tasting tour will include:
Opus One Winery: Founded by Baron Philippe Rothschild of Pauillac, France, and Robert Mondavi, a renowned Napa Valley vintner. Together they combined great winemaking traditions and innovations of both families to create exceptional wines. Opus One has become world renowned for their fine wines and spectacular architecturally designed buildings.
Diamond Oaks Winery: Owned by the Maniar Family and located near the town of Calistoga in the upper Napa Valley amongst rolling hills of mosaic vineyards. The Maniar Family's attention to viticultural detail resulted in the creation of remarkably distinctive Chardonnays.
Lunch and Tour at Clos Pegase Winery: Owned by Jan and Mitsuko Shrem since 1983. The winery is a blend of wine and art with a "temple" built by renowned architect Michael Graves and 20,000 sq feet of caves.
Signorello Vineyards: Owned by Ray Signorello, Jr. and located in Napa Valley. Signorello's wines are known for their reputable excellence of classic French winemaking mixed with California fruit.
