Construction Job Shadow Day Each year APMC participates in the Construction Job Shadow Day.  Students from local high schools visit the Plumbers and Pipefitters Training Center to find out about a career in the plumbing/pipefitting trades.  A tour of one of our member shops shows them how their training is put to use.  And finally a tour of a construction site where they can see how they can be a part of building Sacramento

CCCC APMC is proud to be a member of the California Coalition for Construction in the Classroom (CCCC).  This organization promotes the construction industry as a career option to parents, students, teachers and school administrators.  The CCCC is working with the Govenor to reinstate Career Technical Education (CTE) back into our high school curriculum.  If you would like to learn more about CCCC please click here:  http://www.constructcareers.org/
